Hewlett-Packard wins EC contract

2006 — Brussels (BEL): The European Commission has agreed to pay a
consortium of France Telecom’s Equant and Hewlett-Packard €210 million
($266.8 million) for a new communications infrastructure.A new
classified telecoms network will be built to replace several existing
structures.
